birdhouse’s recently completed German craft beer brewery was chosen as the location for filming an episode of Chinese TV show 老男孩 yesterday.
The bar was closed to the public as a very large film crew took over the restaurant, with lots of people wearing walkie talkies running around all over the place. I’m told, by those in the industry, that this is what film sets are always like. Madness.
But that’s not really irrelevant for us, we are just stoked that our design was deemed suitable to be their chosen location! And Zapfler is famous! We’ll be keeping an eye out for when it’s aired – though that’s likely to be next year some time….. It’s nice to know we are not the only ones who have to wait so long to see their projects completed!
